Bail

An inmates’ bail can be paid by cash or card.

You will first need to check the Current Inmate Roster to get the inmate’s file number.

Checks are not accepted for bail without prior approval from the Sheriff or Jail Manager.

Once bail has been paid it is sent to the courts for processing. When the court case is concluded the courts will return the bail money, minus administrative fees and any fines and fees levied by the courts, to the person who actually paid the bail. They cannot return the money to anyone but the person who paid for it.

The Sheriff’s Office cannot return bail if charges are dropped. Bail must be returned through the courts.
